When the Sun, Moon, and Earth are positioned at a right angle to each other, the resulting tide is about 20 percent lower than a normal tide.
Low neap tides occur on the seventh/eighth day (рд╕рдк्рддрдоी/рдЕрд╖्рдЯрдоी) of the lunar fortnight.
