स्वदेशी प्रदूषण नियंत्रण पोत 'समुद्र प्रताप'
भारतीय तटरक्षक बल (ICG) ने 23 दिसंबर 2025 को अपने पहले स्वदेशी प्रदूषण नियंत्रण पोत 'समुद्र प्रताप' को बेड़े में शामिल किया।

यह पोत गोवा शिपयार्ड लिमिटेड (GSL) द्वारा स्वदेशी रूप से डिजाइन और निर्मित किया गया है।
आकार:
'समुद्र प्रताप' भारतीय तटरक्षक बल के बेड़े का सबसे बड़ा पोत है, जिसकी लंबाई 114.5 मीटर है।
स्वदेशीकरण:
इस पोत के निर्माण में 60 प्रतिशत से अधिक स्वदेशी घटकों का उपयोग किया गया है, जो 'आत्मनिर्भर भारत' और 'मेक इन इंडिया' पहल को सुदृढ़ करता है।
हथियार और तकनीक:
यह 30 मिमी सीआरएन-91 (CRN-91) तोप, रिमोट-नियंत्रित तोपों और अत्याधुनिक तकनीक से सुसज्जित है।
विशेष क्षमताएं:
यह तटरक्षक बल का पहला पोत है जो डायनामिक पोजिशनिंग क्षमता (DP-1) से लैस है।
इसमें तेल रिसाव का पता लगाने के लिए उन्नत ऑइल फिंगरप्रिंटिंग मशीन और केमिकल डिटेक्टर प्रणालियां लगी हैं।
यह गाढ़े तेल से प्रदूषकों को पुनः प्राप्त करने और दूषित पानी से तेल को अलग करने में सक्षम है।
संचालन क्षमता:
इसकी विस्थापन क्षमता 4,170 टन है और यह विशिष्ट आर्थिक क्षेत्र (EEZ) में व्यापक प्रदूषण प्रतिक्रिया अभियान चला सकता है।
Indigenous Pollution Control Vessel 'Samudra Pratap'
Induction Date: The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) inducted its first indigenous pollution control vessel, 'Samudra Pratap', into its fleet on December 23, 2025.
Manufacturer: The vessel was indigenously designed and built by Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL).
Size: 'Samudra Pratap' is the largest vessel in the Indian Coast Guard's fleet, with a length of 114.5 meters.
Indigenization: Over 60% of the components used in the ship's construction are indigenous, strengthening the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (Self-reliant India) and 'Make in India' initiatives.
Weapons and Tech: It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a 30mm CRN-91 gun and remote-controlled guns.
Special Capabilities:
It is the first ICG vessel equipped with Dynamic Positioning System (DP-1) capability.
It features advanced oil fingerprinting machines and chemical detector systems to detect oil spills.
The vessel is capable of recovering pollutants from thick oil and separating oil from contaminated water.
Operational Capacity: It has a displacement capacity of 4,170 tons and can conduct comprehensive pollution response operations in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
